Downeast Toyota Rent A Car

Kathleen Adams has been the Rental Department Manager at Downeast Toyota since 2004.  She studied Business Management at University College in Bangor.  She was subsequently employed with a large corporate rental franchise for five years before coming to work at Downeast.

Since then, Kathleen has earned her Masters level certification with Toyota as a TRAC manager and was named to their leadership board in 2005.  She has earned regional and national recognition as one of Toyota’s longest serving TRAC managers.  She is frequently consulted for her expertise by other Toyota dealerships opening a Rental division as part of their operation.

TRAC is an acronym representing Toyota’s corporate rental car program and stands for “Toyota Rent A Car.”  When Downeast opened our Rental Department in 2004, Kathleen was that department’s only employee, and she had only 13 vehicles available for rent. Since then, the Rental Department has gained four additional employees responsible for maintaining one of the largest Toyota rental fleets in the nation!
